Challenger is a 1973 Chris Craft Commander 41, #FAA-41-0054-H. Its home port is Seneca Lake, in the heart of New York's Finger Lakes region.
Seneca Lake is on the Cayuga Seneca Canal, part of the NYS Erie Canal system. The lake is 39 miles long and 600 ft. deep.
|If you're a Commander enthusiast, the phrase 'original 427 power' may mean something. The boat has been serviced at the same marina since it was delivered new. Currently owned by a technology education teacher, the boat has had three previous owners. It was one of those 'spur of the moment' purchases, only because of the current owner's lifelong fascination with boats.
